Now this is very cool. These are a bit time consuming to make, and being lazy i've not done many of them, but what here is a virtual reality look at some Devon surf spots. They take a bit of time to load, and if your on dial-up you might think the thing isn't working. Just sit there that little bit longer and it should fire up. If you've got broad band, then you can laugh at the speed while you listen to your illegal MP3's and go blind over your porn collection. Um, ok.
Croyde:- No point being coy about where this is. Always busy, but with good reason. Devon's most famous break.
Woolacombe:- Huge beach, great town, and a choice of waves.
Spot L :- Well known to the locals, but if you don't know where it is, you'll never find it. By invitation only, just to show you the way!
Spot M:- Difficult to find, difficult to get to, fickle as hell... but when it's on...ooh my.
Bantham:- South Devons version of Fistral. N.Coasters are surprised at how good it gets, and the rivermouth can be heaps of fun. Rippy though. The only break I've ridden where you literally have to paddle back to the beach.
Challabrough:- Back in the shadows of time, this was a secret spot. <sigh> A great bodyboarding spot, (Mike Stewart even visited, but didn't go in.), but these days more likely to be choked up by those nice chaps on the surf science course at Plymouth Uni. Be nice to them; one day they'll be behind that counter in your local surf shop. (This is a JOKE you twats; stop sending me your whiney emails)
